Conservatorships and Guardianships
Typically, conservatorships or guardianships are established for clients in comas or with a form of dementia, Alzheimer's, or another serious illness. Adult guardians tend to the client's daily needs and tasks, such as personal hygiene, clothing, food shopping and other related tasks. Adult guardians may be family members, neighbors, or professionals who are paid for services rendered on behalf of the ward.
